low-cost style at

Image from Superficial Girls
Remember yesterday's post about the polka dot trend that's taken the fashion world by storm this season? After seeing these gorgeous spotty shorts on Carlinn of Superficial Girls, I headed over to the website of bargain British brand Boohoo to have a look at their latest collections.

For those of you who may not be aware of it, is an affordable fast-fashion womenswear company based solely online (they do not have any stores or produce a print catalogue). New lines are added daily and I've found that once a product is gone it's usually gone for good - like these shorts were when I went to purchase them - so if you see something you love you have to be quick!

Of all of Boohoo's SS11 collections, amongst them Bright Idea and Style Safari, my favourite has to be English Eccentric (probably no surprise to followers!). It's the kind of collection that makes me think of raiding a little girl's dressing up box: full skirtslace, pinks, patterns, and of course a pair of heels and some red lipstick borrowed stolen from Mummy.

Sheer Button Blouse in blush £15, tucked into Floral 50s Style Skirt £15, teamed with Ostrich Effect Grab Bag £25, and Pearl and Bead Necklace £8

These 4 images screengrabbed from Boohoo

Hi Margaret,

Thanks so visiting my blog!

I've tried to pop over to yours but the link associated with your name doesn't work - if you see this please try re-linking because I hate not being able to repay the favour by visiting other blogs and commenting back!
