We’ve had another gorgeous sunny day in London town! This afternoon Chris and I cycled to Selfridges for a quick browse, stuffed our faces at Zizzi, then continued our bike ride all around Hyde Park. It’s not a park I know particularly well having spent most of my time enjoying London’s green space in Regent’s Park, which we’re now lucky enough to live fairly close to.

We probably couldn’t have picked a more perfect day for soaking up Hyde Park’s individual atmosphere. We listened to a couple of people talk at Speaker’s Corner, gasped at the length of the boat hire queue, admired the crazy skillz of the inline skaters and almost ran over a couple of small children who’s parents were letting them run wild (grr).

This has just been one of those perfect weekends. It’s going to hit me hard when the weather turns more October-appropriate in the middle of the week! On the bright side I am looking forward to breaking out the few autumnal purchases I’ve made, in particular my new coat, mittens and snood. Autumn is my favourite season after all!
