River Island AW11 lookbook
After a dodgy chavvy phase a few years ago, River Island is now one of my favourite high street stores and so I look forward to their lookbook every season.
Whilst the quality of the clothing can sometimes leave a sour taste in relation to the RRP, I do love the footwear, handbags and denim, which is all good quality and really reasonably-priced.
I actually used to work at River Island and four out of five shifts would see me walking out of the store at the end of the day with a purchase or two!
In this AW11 lookbook I’m particularly coveting the simple shapes of the 60s-style shift dresses and the masculine blazers, not to mention the whole outfit in the middle heritage look (below). Something tells me the black mid-heel bow trimmed shoes will inevitably find their way into my wardrobe too!

I know what you mean. I like River Island a lot more these days. I love these pictures from their AW lookbook. I’m definitely ready to start shopping for AW- don’t really know why I even bothered buying an summer clothes with this weather we’re having ha!x
