I originally posted this on Thursday but when Blogger crashed it was removed from the blog. I know a few of you had already commented so I hope those comments come back, if not I’m sorry!Every once in a while I come across a lookbook that instantly makes me think that all the ones I’ve pored over so far are bland, been-done, and already behind the times: introducing the Reiss SS11 Womenswear Mainline collection.

This collection is both timeless and modern: a gorgeous mix of feminine dresses and sharp tailoring, all in shades of black, white, nude, cream and beige off-set against popping jewel colours. There is luxurious detail in the form of sheer material, embroidery, pleating, and slinky, draping fabric.

Who cares about trends? This is how I want to dress forever. Oh-so grown up and oh-so sexy.
