First I just want to say a quick hello to my new followers and a big thank you to all of you! I have now reached over 350 followers and I could never in a million years have imagined that this would happen – and it’s all because of you. So thank you!

I’m really impressed with Debenhams this season. We all know it can too easy to write it off as a store for your Mum and her friends but their AW11 lookbook has really made me think again.

In particular my eye has been caught by Red Herring (Debenhams’ answer to Topshop): there’s just the right amount of 1970s influence. I can definitely see myself getting plenty of wear out of the pleated skirt so that’s one purchase justified…

I’ve got so much packing to do before I move house next weekend. I’m actually hoping the weather will be miserable so I’m not too depressed about having to spend the next 2 days indoors boxing up my life (so if it rains, sorry – but you can bet it’ll be glorious). I’m going out for a few drinks with my friends on Saturday night, my little send-off if you will, so at least I’ve got something to look forward to!
