LFW: Krystof Strozyna SS12
If you follow me on Twitter you may have noticed my mild panic on Friday afternoon. The gods of fate were against me and determined to prevent me from getting to this show at Freemasons’ Hall for 2.30pm – throwing up a stopped watch, printer problems and horrendous traffic – but I made it with time to spare as (luckily) the show started late. Screw you fate gods.
Of course, as a fashion week newbie and small blogger (not as in vertically challenged, obvz!) I was hardly going to be a front row VIP so I took a few shots from my place on the lowly fourth row (for more and to see the collection properly head to Krystof Strozyna, I’m sure they’ll be on there soon). Where I was seated for this show was irrelevant to me. It was all about the energy and the expectation, the show was over in 2 minutes anyway. But I still hope to one day become one of those blasé bloggers who’s all “Oh no it’s fashion week again, cue a week of 17 hour days and tired feet”. Dream big.

LFW: Vauxhall Fashion Scout Exhibition
Following yesterday afternoon’s Krystof Strozyna SS12 show (more on that soon) I climbed up the grand old staircase in the entrance of the Freemasons’ Hall to take a look at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Exhibition.
Between them, these young creatives have worked with designers as varied as Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Alberta Ferretti, Giles, Preen and Diane Von Furstenburg, and had their collections stocked at Browns, Selfridges, Harrods and Barneys NY. Expect big things – after all it’s where Eudon Choi and William Tempest first gained recognition.

Video: “How to wear sequins” with Westfield London
A couple of weeks ago I posted about my evening shopping in Westfield London, hunting down my key piece that fits in with the AW11 sequin trend, along with some other bloggers. I mentioned briefly that we were also filmed on our quests and the videos have gone live this morning – here’s mine!
Got to run! I have a few trés exciting London Fashion Week events to attend, I’ll tell you all about them soon! Have a nice weekend (:
M&S AW11 styling challenge: day 7
Wearing: Limited Collection feather print skirt c/o Marks and Spencer, mens’ Givenchy shirt via Oxfam, long cardigan from UNIQLO, black Chelsea boots from Topshop, over-the-knee socks from eBay, belt (came with skirt) from River Island
For the final day of the M&S blogger challenge I’m wearing the printed skirt again – I couldn’t resist, it’s my new favourite! I’ve clashed the pattern against a mens’ Givenchy shirt I found in Oxfam (also seen worn as a cropped shirt with a high waisted skirt) and I’ve added red lips for a pop of colour.
If you like this look please vote for me in M&S’s Limited Collection blogger challenge (:
I’m having a bit of an outfit-planning meltdown at the moment – I’ve been invited to a couple of shows at London Fashion Week (I can’t actually believe I’ve just typed that!) and I’ve gone into panic mode. What the hell does a person wear to fashion week?! I have a rather monumental ASOS delivery due today so keep your fingers crossed it solves my problem…
Anyhoo, here’s a round-up for all of the other outfits I’ve worn this week as part of the M&S Limited Collection blogger challenge. Which was your favourite?
