I’d just like to thank everyone who voted for me – I may not have won but I’m genuinely astounded by the number of votes I did receive so I am extremely grateful. THANK YOU! I’d also like to say a quick thank you to Westfield London for even inviting me to take part – I had the most fun day being pampered and photographed with a lovely team of people. I am aware that this is turning into a bit of a gushy Oscars speech and I didn’t even win so on with the post…!

Here are the things that have been making me smile over the past few weeks, please feel free to add your own in the comments!
1. YOUR SUPPORT! Thank you so much to every single person who’s voted for me in the Westfield London blogger style competition – I consider myself lucky to even be in the running so the fact so many people have voted for me feels amazing! The competition ends at 5pm tomorrow and I’m now lagging in fourth place so I’d appreciate it if you’d vote for me - just click ‘like’ or ‘tweet’!
2. Make Up Store Holiday Luxury Body Lotion. I was given a sample by the make up artists at the Westfield blogger style photoshoot - it smells so good you’ll want to eat yourself.
3. Happy bags – I love love love my cheerful, bright red Cambridge Satchel! The next ‘happy’ bag on my want list is the equally chirpy Furla Candy Bag, available in 7 eye-catching colours. Oh and the Cambridge Satchel Company now have some gorgeous new colour options available exclusively from ASOS!
4. Generosity part 1 – today is the annual Virgin London Marathon so please give generously! I’ve just donated to the Oxglam team, which is made up of fashion favourites including Henry Holland, Agyness Deyn, and David Gandy.
5. Generosity part 2 – this coming Friday at 2pm, the Manchester Duck Race is being held in Spinningfields. Entry costs £1 per duck and all of the money raised will go to children’s charity Brainwave. Prizes include a mini Mulberry Alexa handbag and a family meal at new local hotspot The Alchemist. I’ve bought 5 ducks, that Alexa has my name on it!
6. Charlie is now allowed outside hence my legs are no longer scratching posts.
7. Fluff (available in the UK from Selfridges).

Award: Kreativ Blogger
On Tuesday the very lovely and very beautiful Miss Lady Peach tagged me as a recipient of the Kreativ Blogger Award – thank you muchly! Oh and also well done on your successful presentation today ^_^
The idea of the award is that I now have to tag 10 other bloggers that I feel deserve to receive the award, and then list 10 facts about myself.
Well, I love you all equally so I want to nominate all of my followers as my tagged recipients! I’m not one for playing by the rules ^_^ Without further ado here are my 10 facts:
1. My ultimate lusted-after fashion item is the all-time-classic Chanel 2.55 handbag.
2. Another new obsession of mine is sexy scientist (oxymoron?) Professor Brian Cox. Last weekend I even dreamt that he told me he was going to leave his wife for me – sorry Mrs Cox.
3. My alcoholic beverages of choice are (the very unladylike) Strongbow cider with blackcurrant, Southern Comfort and lemonade, Baileys, and Rekorderlig Strawberry and Lime flavour cider.
4. The skills I wish I had more than any other are the ability to sing and to be able to speak fluent French. Je suis désolé mon français est terrible! (Yes I had to Google that.)
5. When I was younger my friend and I used to pretend our bicycles were ponies because we both wanted one so much! She eventually persuaded her parents and got one named Piccolo – I was insanely jealous but she was very generous and used to let me ride him too ^_^
7. I am super-organised in every aspect of my life except my wardrobe, which is a shambles. I intend to remedy this at the weekend with a spring clean and a colour-coding system!
8. My favourite TV shows ever are: Sex and the City, Grey’s Anatomy, Friends, Family Guy, and America’s Next Top Model. I ♥ trash TV!
9. I dream of travelling across America and hope to take a career break in the next few years to do so.
